Hey girls -- just sending out a heads up, I pass the Best Western East End on my way to work & they are doing MAJOR renovations.. So for those with rooms blocked there in the near future (ie 3-4 months) I would keep my eye on the construction as it seems they are basically gutting the place.... If you want me to send you updates as I pass by just send me a FM and I won't mind at all...
I know the Town of Riverhead can be a pain with permits, etc.. so I'd just keep my eye on the situation!

Yeah tell me about it...
They're actually not going to be a Best Western anymore -they're now the Indigo Hotel. They were supposed to be open by May but now I'm hearing July. If they're not ready for me on August 14th I'm going to FLIP. We have over 30 rooms booked!

Oh no! That's such a pain! I'll keep my eye on it seeing as I have no choice, Monday-Friday and keep everyone posted jusssst in case! But, I'm sure by August you should be okay. Honestly, they'd be fools to not open before Memorial Day weekend out here, so I'm sure that'll light a fire under them :)
On a happier note, it looks like its going to be ALL new!

i booked my block of rooms back in oct for this sept and i only found out by searching for the website to give the link to my girls before the STDs went out and NO hotel under best western anywhere in riverhead!!!! i wigged out calling all around....
make a looooong story short, they assured me it would be ready by sept but complete failure to contact me and other brides of their major changes and direction cards, etc.
BUT saw what it should look after construction and looks great! hope it gets done FAST though! thanks for the update ... i want to take a drive out there to see....
i heard June, now i see its pushed back... can you keep me posted?? lol thanks!! its an hour plus from me and i know im going to be anxious!
