Best Western East End Shuttle

Does anyone have any experience with the 'free shuttle' the Best Western East End (Riverhead) offers for every 15 rooms booked from your block of rooms? I've only been able to find 2 reviews 1 good 1 bad. Does anyone know what company they use and if they are reliable? I'm worried because a few years ago at a friends wedding, the hotel we stayed in (a Holiday Inn or something) provided a shuttle to the wedding. It was maybe a 10 minute ride. Get on the LIE, get off 2 exits and make a right. Easy right? Well the shuttle left early for the first run, got lost on the way there, so those of us who were waiting for it to come back ended up on a trolley that had just dropped a wedding party off at the hotel that we paid $5 pp for and missed the CH. On the way home, the driver missed the exit and turned a ten minute ride into 30. So I'm nervous something like this is going to happen. But then I don't want to spend money I don't have to on a shuttle if I don't have to worry about it. When I asked the hotel about it, they insinuated that they use different companies so they couldn't let me know yet. I don't want to be a PIA because they have been very accomodating and I don't want to cause problems.
