Best Western Riverhead

Has anyone stayed there? I booked my room block today. the rooms were just ok...but my only other option was the Holiday Day Inn. And the Holiday Inn doesnt have a bar...which I thought was important for after the wedding.

Let me know if you have stayed there and how it was.

My aunt was married at the East Wind. Some of her guests stayed at Best Western Riverhead. They had no problems. I went to the New Years party they had at East Wind (EW rooms were all booked) and we enjoyed stayed at Best Western. The cab ride was expensive but the rooms were decent, no frills place.

I stayed there after a wedding. They had a shuttle and the room was clean.

My fmil and ffil are staying there in a few weeks when they come up from Florida for our engagement party I will let you know what they say about it.

They stayed at the Holiday in when they where here a month ago and loved it but I agree a bar would be nice to have!

Thanks. Definately let me know! As long as it's clean and ok...I'll be happy. I realize it's not a luxury hotel. :)

I actually just called them yesterday to block rooms. I thought it was very expensive! I did like how they have a bar, but you have to pay $100 to keep it open, and its a cash bar.

Did you meet with them in person to block or do it over the phone? I have to get started on room blocks too.

What about the Hilton in Riverhead? We got a better rate there than Best Western (but blocked at both). For December, Hilton is $99/night and Best Western is $119/night.

The Hilton wont shuttle my guests to the RH...which is why I wanted Best Western or Holiday Inn. I might book some rooms there too...in case people want an option
