Any brides who used the Best Western Riverhead bus to transport their guests to and from their reception.
We are upgrading to a bus contracted by the hotel and I would like to know the experience you have had. Please post your experiences!!!
TIA!!!

Re: Best Western Riverhead Bus/Shuttle
I had a bad experience with the shuttle. Sorry.
We got a bus (from another vendor) for our guests and we wanted to use the shuttle for the BP. well, we were entitled to 2 shuttles. The first once came & the boys got in it. I wasn't ready. When I came into the lobby, hair done, veil, on, etc, my shuttle was gone. they said 'he waited 15 minutes & left.' They said if I wanted it to come back it would take 45 minutes & be $250.
I had no ride to my f*cking wedding. I got there in my MOH's Suburban.
I personally would not depend on the Best Western.
Sorry. I feel badly posting something negative but you need to be warned.

Thank you for your honest opinion!!!! I appreciate it. They have been a bit flaky and my gut tells me 'look elsewhere.'
Thanks so much!!!

Re: Best Western Riverhead Bus/Shuttle
I had to book a bus because between Best Western and my other hotel block, I have over 40 rooms already reserved before my invites have even gone out!!!

Re: Best Western Riverhead Bus/Shuttle
My FSIL got married at Vineyard Caterer's and we stayed at the Best Western. Fh and I didn't stay at the hotel and therefore we took our own car over there, but as far as I know she didn't have any problems with the shuttle and everyone made it there without a problem.

Cin~ I didn't use BW shuttle but the shuttle from Holiday Express & I understand they were the same co. The service was very average- even not great - but I am thinking your stuck unless you private contract out. The first shuttle should be free? No?

Re: Best Western Riverhead Bus/Shuttle
Do you have any rate info for Jitney that you can share with us? My wedding will be near Riverhead next Memorial Day Weekend and 90% of our guests will be staying in a hotel so this will come in handy. Thanks!

Re: Best Western Riverhead Bus/Shuttle
Now I am going to stress over the shuttle service. I think I might call the Best Western to express my concern and get confirmation that all will be handled accordingly. Ugh!

Re: Best Western Riverhead Bus/Shuttle
If you are staying at the Best Western or the Holiday Inn and you use an outside vendor, they will credit you back what the shuttle costs. I am staying at the HOliday Inn and we have 60 rooms, so for every 15 rooms we get a shuttle, which does not cover half the people, but its something. Make sure you talk to them about it. We are using a bus from the limo company and using teh credit from not using the shuttle towards it
