Better Late Than Never- My Save The Dates

I sent out two kinds of STDs. The first one is just for local NY guests (card). The second one is a luggage tag for OOT guests (everyone here in Missouri!). This is just the protype (I mailed out the heavier stock ones but you get the idea)
Sorry they are so blurry. I had to take these with my camera b/c my scanner is not hooked up.
We are having a vineyard theme (b/c FH's family owns a vineyard and soon to be winery) The logo are grapes (but are actually little hearts- it is hard to see in the picture) and the vines form two D's (both of our last names begin with a D) I love them!

Robeymuse - Did you make those yourself or did you get those made somewhere? I am trying to find something for us but I havent seen anything I like.

sweetnessconfused, my FH's sister is a graphic designer with her own firm- Spin Design LLC. She designed them for us. She is also doing our invites, programs, menus.
She came up with the idea of the luggage tag and designed the logo.

Hi,

I just came across this thread with your STD's and luggage cards....BTW...I LOVE IT!!!!! It is so different. I have about 100 guests coming from out of town, I haven't sent out STD's and my wedding is in Sept. 2004 Would you please tell me how to make the luggage tags? I would really, really, appreciate that. I would like to send it out with the hotel information.

We had them designed by a graphic design firm but I am sure you can make them yourself.
We ended up having about 10 pages total, the first few were graphics illustrating the story and the last ones detailed the hotel information, shuttles, rehearsal dinner, etc...
We had them cut to size by a printing company and they collated them and bound them together by the grommet. Then my FH and I went to a hobby supply store (like Michaels) and bought the little link chains. We mailed them in clear vellum envelopes.
We have gotten so many calls about our STDs. They were a HUGE success and people have them hanging on their fridge.
The only problem is now designing an invite to follow that!!
