between ceremony and reception

What are you ladies planning on doing for your guests between the church and reception? My ceremony ends at 4 - 4:15pm (Babylon) and the CH starts at 7:30pm (Mt Sinai). Are you planning something or leaving them on their own?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm leaving them on their own..I have about 2 hours in between. In my program, I plan on having a page that lists things to do in the area, as well as putting something similar in the OOT bags....

this is the topic of debate in my house. i feel that they can be left on their own but my mother feels it's our responsibility to entertain them. we might have a tab at the bar in the reception hall for them--it's a seperate entrance from the ballroom or we'll direct them to the hotel where we have a block of rooms

I'm also leaving them on their own. They can go back home and change for the 'night', they can sight see, they can do whatever they want. It's pretty normal to have a big gap between ceremony and reception (at least all the weddings I have been to) and they're for the most part happy about it since they go to the church in 'church' clothes and then the girls go get their hair done, get changed, etc. for the reception.

I'm taking a different route, I think, I am providing a shuttle for people between fromt eh reception to teh ceremony and back again where the bar on the top floor is open starting at 12:00pm so they can either go up there, shoot pool, play poker, or walk around the grounds. I may do a catered little something too at the reception site.
