Beware or lurking Vendors!!!!

Hi girls so I replyed to a post the other day about a certain DJ company saying that at the showcase i couldnt hear the MC either and now today i get a message from that vendor telling me they would like to address my concerns blah blah blah is it me or dont u think they should not be commenting on stuff we are posting!! That is why there is a vendor board if we want to hear from u then we will ask

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

MEEE it happened to me when I was new on the site!!!! But my post was taken down!!!

I've heard of this happening and I think it's terrible! If we wanted to take something up with a vendor, we would do it personally.

Yeah its terrible we are only allowed to say nice things about the vendors - that's not all that helpful

I agree.. we are on here to get helpful opinions and when things are taken down because they reflect negatively on the vendor especially a associated vendor it is not fair. Im here to make sure I dont pick a vendor that people have had problems with, but evidently we are not allowed to have honest opinions

I've had it happen before, nothing bad but they just commented on something I said. I wonder how often they read the boards?!? I almost feel stalked sometimes

well yes...it happend to me too..
ofcourse they are lurking and want to know what we are saying about them.. i mean we all have each others emails and if we want to give a negative comment we can do it through the phone or email...but thats what they dooo!!!..
i hate it......i got really mad when one of my vendors(the one im using anymore) said something about iit!....anyway...

After reading about your experience I made sure I didnt give them FH's phone number just my private cell. I booked a percussionist as a surprised for FH since he plays the drums so he can be surprised and maybe go up there and play a song.

Yea it s u c ks that they read this but it is a public forum.

If you think about it, it could be a good thing. I mean if they read how unhappy you are, they may try and make you happy by throwing in free stuff.

Yes... I had that happen to me as well...
I was making a small complaint about how much flowers can be...since I obviously had NO idea! Then I had about 4 other flower venders contact me ... OK... just odd. Venders need to stay on the vender site. If I wanted to have vender help I would go to the vender page! Frustration!

I didnt give it to them either! It must have been on our paperwork somewhere because I couldnt figure out how they even got his number.

oh yeah that is true I was at a showcase last week and they had a book of all the posts from other brides
