Scary but true. I spoke to the woman in sales and was given a price for reserved rooms for my guests. One week later FMIL goes in to coordinate RD when the rate I was told came up, she stated 'I never said that...and even if I did, I will not honor it.' Pretty scummy...they lose, we are taking 50+ rooms for two nights and doing a huge RD and breakfast.....

oh so sorry for how shitfy they are, at least you found out early enough.
I had a bad experience with a vendor as well and its hard not to get upset over it. You care about your wedding day and your paying these people alot of money to care too.

Every hotel I called including the Roslyn Claremont gave me the lowest price that I found on the internet. No 'group rate'

I just called them to make sure my price is still valid and it is!! I did have a contract, so maybe thats how they are still honoring it! I already have guests booking rooms because my wedding is just about two months away, so iw ould freak if they switched the price on us...so to anyone who is interested in teh Roslyn Claremont, I guess make sure you have a contract. I have actually had a good experience with them, they have been very nice and very helpful! Barakabella, Im sorry you hada bad expereince.
