When we sent out our invites- we weighed them 2X... but-- at the same post office (Hicksville.) They told us both times that it was $.82 for them... WELL... As we are sending out some late invites I went to a different post office to send out some invites and the PO rep told me that they are only .$60!!! But I didn't think anything of it really... I figured his scale was off or something.... Then, just a few min ago, FH went to send one out... and the PO rep at that office said the same thing... it should have been $.60!!
So ladies-- weigh your envelopes at different post offices- you might be getting ripped off! If we would have known this... we would have saved $40!!! Grrrrrrr.

I was bad…I didn’t weigh mine…I just used a $.60 stamp and hoped for the best!

WOW that is horrible!!!!!! I'm sorry about that - ours were only .60 cents and we were told we had plenty of weight to spare.
I guess at least you know they should ALL make it but I agree about being mad - did you call and tell them they miss weighed them?

I was thinking about calling but I'm sure it will get me nowhere. I mean the invites are all out and all the money was spent. It's just a major bummer.

that has happened to us before. FH sends packets out for his business. If he weighs it in the city, he gets a different rate than weighing it in the county limits.

I actually added postage to mine, b/c being that I made mine, no two were alike, so I was a bit paranoid.. lol
I know someone who put less and they were RETURNED!! she had to have the envelopes RE-WRITTEN!
