I hear ya...
It's funny you say that...I posted something there a couple of days ago about my BIL's wedding and having a cash bar. (I actually meant to post it here, I've been told by a regular poster that this is a good board, but long story short I'm a dope and accidentially I posted it there.) Anyway, back to my point...
Some girls responded with either advice or comments that were generally sensable and more so pertained to my OP. But so many others went off on a tangent that had nothing to do with what I was saying...it was just bizzare... I don't think I'll be posting there again. I don't come on this website all that often to begin with but with an experience like that, it's no wonder.
Just thought I'd share... though I have a feeling you realize you're not alone in feeling this way.

You're not a dope, you did post it here. I was the first person to click reply but got interrupted so by the time I actually clicked the Post button, it had already been moved to BHB. I guess it got reported or it was seen by the admins and they moved it.
There were so many threads that got out of control in BHB, much worse and nastier than that. But they got deleted so we don't see them.
You should hang around NWR. It's largely shielded from the insanity that can be wedding planning. But you must expect, and participate, in all the smutty talk that goes on among the hows of NWR.

Wait one minute, my post got MOVED??? What the HECK is THAT about? Have they always done that? As you can see, I'm not very well versed with this site. Holy cow...
I lurke on this board quite a bit but unfortunately, I don't get to really post b/c I'm blocked at work, during the day, when all the action is happening. I do come on at night but it's MUCH slower. But I will come around whenever I can and promise to partake in the smutty talk...
I can only aspire to become a one of the 'regular hows'.
ETA: Can I just say that I thought I was losing my mind with the post moving thing??? Why would they move it?

They try to keep the threads in the right place. NWR gets a lot of threads moved from BHB because they're not wedding related.
It's not a big deal really, it's the same thread. It's just moved to the right place.
I've been guilty of putting NWR type threads in BHB to get more views in the past.
