So I know I've heard about this policy at RK bridal and Im a little upset now because i have my MOH and 2 bms coming with me into the city next Saturday ( I know that we should go on a weekday but they cant...) this is my first dress shopping and I dont want to be limited to 7 and I feel like it will be a waste of a day if we go all the way into the city and can only try on 7...
advice? should i schedule other appointments as well for later in the day? I just feel bad that I would have to dray them around, I guess I could go on my own to RK and take off a day of work and go to other shops with them next Saturday. What does everyone think?

They do have a limit... but depending on who you get as a consultant, they may be flexible... When I went, it was on a Saturday afternoon and I tried on more than 7 dresses for sure.... At first, you choose 5 of your own to bring into the fitting room.... then the consultant started bringing in dresses for me to try on.... I was there a while... but not sure if every consultant would be so flexible....
I drag my mom and MOH around with me everywhere. I think you should take them with you. Even if you only get to try on 7 dresses, it would take a while. Then you can get lunch or something afterwards, if you want.... that's what we did... I say take them!

If your worried about it, try to make another appointment a few hours after this one...Then in between the two take them for lunch or something nice

I remember that policy from when my best friend and I went for her dress. Trust me, it still takes awhile for someone to try on 7 dresses! If you want to try on more, you'll definitely want to take a breather and maybe grab something to eat anyway (and if you don't, whoever you bring probably will, LOL!), so see if you can schedule another appointment later on in the day.

Thanks girls. Yeah, I didnt think about how long it takes to try on 7 dresses, i guess. I will probablly schedule an appointment at Lilllettes in Baldwin for later on that day.

What time is your appointment? There's a place near there that does a mean brunch, and for like $12, you get unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, champagne, bellinis, etc. with your entree. Brunch is from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; here's the website if you need it:

I'm all about unlimited drinks, LMAO!

they do only allow 7 dresses because of the no appt policy and to be fair to the ppl that sign in after you. they do allow you to sign in again after you're done with the first round to try on 7 more if you want to. you could use the waiting time to maybe look at BM dress options.

id def still go if you really want to go there, but I would definitly make one or two other appts so you can try on as many as you want, I did three places in one day and found my dress at place one. I still went to two other places, but just to be sure. goodluck!!
