Anyone been to or have pics saved of winter themed weddings ??
Were thinking about switching from fall to winter themes b/c of the time of year (day after thanksgiving) but need some ideas
Also, how can i work Crest Hollows color scheme (gold fixtures and burgundy carpeting) into a winter theme??

i'm sorry, i havent seen anything, ill keep an eye out though I'm sure it wont be hard to work the colors in, but i guess it would be more 'wintery' in silver and royal blue?

Re: bhb repost: winter wedding
I would go to Crest Hollow and see how they are decorated for the holidays and get inspiration from there.
You could always go with a winter white decor and have everything white with crystals - but if you're like me and want some color, then I think gold, burgundy, evergreens, berries, flowers, pinecones and candles look gorgeous.
I've actually always decorated my house at the holidays with burgundy ribbon instead of red ribbon - just a personal preference - so i think the gold fixtures and burgundy carpet will go with a winter aesthetic really nicely!
I'll be going to Westbury Manor about a year before my wedding (12/3/05) and will post photos of their winter decorations.

Re: bhb repost: winter wedding
ok so weve kinda decided for now to go with a gold and white theme....kinda wintry but also neutral... white tablecloths with gold overlays, white chair covers with gold bows, gold candles , white lights in the trees around the room (If CH allows that)
Im excited cause now i can finally start to imagine what my wedding day might be like- thats been the hardest part for me so far
Also thinking of doing gold and white balloons for the Cocktail hour...tell me if you think it might be too cheesy though
Something like the first pic but with white pearlized balloons added in
