so we had booked the beach club estates, and had been losing sleep as out date continues to get closer. long story short, they told us that there is a chance that they won't be ready for our wedding, so we had to start from scratch!
luckily both of our other options we liked had our date... that would have been a nightmare if we had to choose a new date (probably lose our dj, photog, video, etc)
we ended up going with smithtown landing, and i'm very happy because they are so awesome to work with, but i need to get excited bc they don't have the water that we had envisioned
at least we found out now and had a chance to book another place... hahaha otherwise it would have been a backyard wedding behind mccarrick's dairy!!

That is exactly why we did not book there I knew they were Bsing me when they said it would all be done by Feb-April. Thank God it worked out for you

Glad everything worked out....Honestly I don't think you will be disappointed with smithtown landing....just went to a wedding there this October, food was AMAZING, and the place itself was beautiful!

I would say if the water thing really bothers you, the Nissequogue River is right over there. You can drive up into Kings Park (by the bluffs) and take pictures so you have water pics too, or Northport is beautiful on the water. My bf took her wedding pics there and they came out beautiful!!!! JMO

I was just think ingabout you. we fm each months ago ( i was the other bce bride on here..lol)about having concerns of the BCE. I just found out monday.(because i called them) that they havent started anything yet..i was going to just drop you an fm to warn you. thank god you found out earlier enough...my date was 5/3/2009. unfortunaly i could nt find that date anywhere , but i did get a new place the Old Field Club.just have to redo STD.. so good luck to and know no matter what you will have a beautiful day no matter what.
