So I was disappointed because I was supposed to do my engagement pictures yesterday but we had to reschedule due to weather. However, I was able to turn a negative into a positive because yesterday I bought my wedding dress!!! I went on Sunday to a few different bridal salons with my bridal party, my mom and my FMIL and at the first place we went, Village Bridal, I fell in love with a Sophia Tolli dress that was the second dress I tried on. The rest of the day, no matter where we went or how many dresses I tried on, I kept thinking back to it and comparing everything to it. Yesterday I went back there with just my sister and my mother to try on two dresses again, a Casablanca one and the Sophia Tolli one, the second I put the Sophia Tolli one back on I knew it was for me and so did they. It's just perfect and I'm so excited. I had such a beautiful moment with my mom and my sister where we all just knew it was mine and my mom cried and I got all teary eyed. I know I'm gonna cherish that moment for a long time. I was really nervous about dress shopping but I couldn't have had a better experience. My consultant at Village Bridal was great, she got what I was looking for and pulled the perfect dresses...including THE ONE. I still can't believe it but I'm so happy. Pictures in album!

That's part of the reason I went to them too was because they had Sophia Tolli and a couple other designers I liked. They were great there, my consultant was nice and like I said,she really understood from my pics what I wanted. I found more dresses I liked there than the other places I went. Also it's just a nice looking place, they had a lot of natural light which was much more forgiving then the fluorescent lights in the other places I went to!
