Big Checks!! A weight has been lifted!!
Hi Girls!! So I haven't really posted in a few days but I fianally made some big dents in my checks. With LESS THAN 3 WEEKS (AAAAHHH!!!!) to the wedding it was about time!!!
BOOKED LIMO - CAMELOT LIMO - I know I posted that one already but he really was so great and worked with us that I just wanted to mention it again. Anyone still looking for a limo for their wedding or any occasion definitely at least call or email them before making your final decision. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!!
BOOKED FLOWERS - HIDDEN ESSENCE - Michelle is amazingly sweet. She is so wonderful. Because of my budget we are only doing flowers for the bridal party (diy centerpieces for the tables) but she stil treated me as if I was giving her tons of business!! She was so nice and helpful and helped me pick out something that will look pretty and still be in my budget!!!) Plus she also HIGHLY recommended a videographer which led me to my next check . . .
BOOKED VIDEO - WILD ROSE - I met with Bill and he was really nice as well. I am so looking forward to working with them.
BOUGHT MY WEDDING BAND - ZALES - I was going to go into the city where FH got my engagement ring from because they were really nice and super helpful and have great turn around time (belljewels.com if anone is interested) I really wanted to wait for FH to pick it out together but he was making me get worried I wouldn't find anything. My ring is tapered toward the stone and so its hard to fine something that will go with it that is premade and with our time crunch it would've been stressful if not almost impossible to get something made. I happened to be in the source mall and decided to stop in Zales. I found one that went around it perfectly!!!! Its not the prettiest ring there is but living in Ecuador you can't sport a lot of bling. Plus I'm pretty low key with my jewelry anyway. I really like the ring though. It has some diamonds but not too much. and it curves around my engagement ing but also has a piece that straightens it out. I'll try to post a pic when i get home (i slept over a friends house last night) I also bought a bracelet I got at a great discount and I'll post pics of those too!!
BOUGHT FLOWER GIRL BASKET - believe it or not we found it by accident at Walmart!! FSD found it and brought it up to me and LOVES it!! it almost looks like a purse but it has a ribbon and a crystal If I can I'll post pics of it as well. The quality is not the best by far but for one day I'm sure it'll be fine. And for $13 its not bad. Plus she's so excited over it!!
RECEIVED PART OF MY MOMS GIFT - I ordered her the Mothers Loving Statue from Lenox. This is one of the biggest 'splurges' in my spending but my mom is truly amazing and definitely worth it!! I am also going to get a two picture frame and on one side put a poem or some sort of thank you and on the other a pic of me and her from the day of replicating the image of the statue.
So the big things are done for the most part and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Can you imagine it being 3 weeks before your wedding and not having flowers, video, limos, etc?!?!? I was STRESSED to say the least!! Now on to the million little details!!
