So i was able to find my dream dress a week after getting engaged. Booked the venue with no problem. Met with Patken fell in love they provided us with a photo shoot for our STD's Check! Then came the Bridesmaid dresses which I was a little nervous about, but that went smooth and all my girls love the dress and look beautiful. Got the officiant, Dj, flowers, cake topper, garter set, and booked the honeymoon. I am at a loss with what to do about makeup, invitations, hotel blocks (everyone i call will not provide us with a bridal suite at no charge no matter how many rooms we block, and fill), and limo's just to pick us up and drop us off we will be getting married also at Crest Hollow.
Hoping that I can get some advice, and maybe some quotes for the services especially makeup. I live in Amityville so I would like someone fairly close to be able to go for a trial.

Looks like you got a lot of checks out of the way. I am booked with Patken also, I think they are fantastic! The only thing I can help you with is makeup. For invitations, check out The Lavender Letter in Dix Hills. She is amazing!! Check out All Star limo. I believe they have pick up and drop off. We booked them for 3 hrs bc we were doing pics for our reveal.

I am at the CHCC too. I did my hotel block at the hilton garden inn plainview. We will get the bridal suite (actually they haut call it a corner suite) fr free if we book 20 rooms. That's the best I could find. It is about 8-10 Minutes away from chcc

We booked with the Viana, and they included the shuttle at no charge because the milleridge is closeby, but if you need the shuttle, they just add a couple of dollars to everyone's room rate to cover the shuttle... our bridal suite including as long as like 10 rooms are booked or something like that- i would definitely check them out, because the crest hollow is only a 5-10 min drive away

Have you considered the free trial with Jacqueline Nicole? I went for mine yesterday and she was great! I'm in the process of writing my review now and will be posting pics soon. The trials are done at her house in Nesconset. From my office in Dix Hills, it took me about 45 minutes to get there in 5pm traffic. The only 'catch' is that she has to be free for your wedding date and you must post your review and pics before the end of September. Good luck!

She didn't return my phone call until I emailed her days later to follow up (only because the trial would have been free) and she finally called me back just to let me know she was already booked for my day. At that point I wouldn't have used her anyway. Vendors that cannot return phone calls are one of my biggest pet peeves lately. I wouldn't trust someone to be reliable on my wedding day if they can't even return a phone call.

Check out Gina Marie from http://glammeupdowntheaisle.com She does a really great job, very sweet, she travels and was wonderfully priced. She does hair and makeup services.
I would also recommend Ellen from http://www.addressed2impress.com She does PHENOMENAL work for invitations, programs, menu any paper needs you have, she is the best.
Check out http://www.allstarlimo.com. They are extremely professional, have been in the business for over 30 years and provide TOP NOTCH service.

That is one my issues these days also I have very little tolerance for people who cant return a call either :)

Really excited just got a call back from Christina. I have my trial appointment on Monday August 19th hopefully that will go great. My goal is to only have one trial! Considering all the phenomenal reviews she has gotten on here, and pictures I have seen of her work. I would say my chances are really good. Fingers crossed :)
