Today is day 1 of the bridesmaid adventures.. I'm bringing my best friend/moh and my girlfriend/bm and they're going to be the models today! AND....today is 'switch the sash' day. I called Wedding Salon and my sales lady answered and said it was the easiest thing to switch on the order. HOLLA!! So excited..
I'm attaching my color palette for the wedding (its changed significantly. Let's just say I've decided to embrace the whole rustic fall theme.
Here's whats happening with the BM dresses: I have 4 BM's, 2 MOH, 1 Jr BM, 1 FG
Since my bridesmaids range in age from 30-43 I really can't stick them in the same dress. I don't think its the best look for them. Soooooo my 4 BM's are likely going to wear Jim Hjelm either Moss or Patina Dresses (See the examples below), all in chiffon (I like the breeziness of a chiffon dress) but a different style. So everyone gets what looks best on their shape and whats their own style (I know, thats very nice of me LOL)..The jr BM will wear the same color as the BM's.
My 2 MOH will wear Vera Wang bridesmaids dresses in a lighter shade of green (see example).
As a backup we could always put them in a light brown/taupe color, but I really am aiming for color in the dresses. Their bouquets will be hydrangeas. AND....we're looking into chocolate tuxedos for the guys. FH and I are going to look in person and then make that call.

Thanks girls! I figure if the green doesn't look that great we can always fall back on a taupe or capuccino brown, and it would still completely be in the color scheme.

OK soooooo the moss color was definitely not my favorite when I saw it in person...BUT we came up with a gorgeous alternative that's still in my color scheme, which is:
Bridesmaids/Junior BM: 'Cashmere' color in Satin fabric by Jim Hjelm (loooove!)
MOH: will wear Vera Wang satin gowns in 'Celadon'
My Sash: 'Sable' (Monique Lhuillier) its lighter in person than it photographs, the next lighter shade was a gold, so I went with sable. Its a gorgeous bronze tone. It really pumps up my dress alot!
The guys will be in black tuxes, with either cappucino colored or celadon vests.
