alright ladies, so those of you who remember my post on my first dress shopping experience earlier this week will remember i liked the dress a lot, but i wasn't sure that i loved it... today i get a call from mom, that her friend called her and told her that she would give me the dress, for FREE!!!!!! i know i don't love it to death, but i really like it...do i continue shopping?!??! or do i just take the offer and thank her?! she is closing her doors at the end of the month... i've arranged to try on dresses at the bridal garden and the wedding atelier on the 30th....oh gods what do i do?!

I would def take the dress I mean it is free!!! But continue shopping and if you find something else then at least you didnt spend $$$$ on the first one

im already wearing three dresses by tradition haha... can i work two wedding dresses a red chinese dress and a getaway dress? is that overkill?

hmm thats a toughy, what was she planning of doing with all the dresses once she closes? If she was just going to toss them all anyways I would say take it and continue looking just in case. You really want to wear a dress you love and although its great that its free, I wouldn't settle just because its free. HTH

I agree - take the free dress and if you find something you like better, you don't need to use it.

yep she is gonna be invited to the wedding haha maybe i can do an engagement shoot with a wedding dress lol

hmm thats a tough one, I believe that you should love the dress you marry the man of your dreams in...with that said, take the free dress and keep looking. You can always sell the free dress or use it for a trash the dress shoot

FREE DRESS!! Take it and run! If you find something else you can be a two dress bride, or you can take different pictures with it, or donate it and do something nice right back

This is kind of hard considering that she is invited to the wedding she might expect you to wear her dress and her dress only as the wedding dress and she might take it a little personal if you use another dress. It's one of those tricky situations.

TAKE THE DRESS!!!! its free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you could always continue shopping for other ones and if you fall in love with a different dress you wont feel bad bc you never paid for the first one
