He's getting undressed last night and puts his shorts on the floor.
BM: THese are clean ME: OK BM: When I put them on the floor like this, means they are clean ME: Sure it does BM: No, really. Next to the bed on the floor means clean. I mean it.
I put them in the hamper this morning. He undoubtedly will be wearing them tomorrow.

funny, clean for us = under the weight bench. No wonder I'm always getting in trouble..I guess I just didn't know where to look!

For me its on the floor, anywhere. Usually in the closet. If it's dirty, he puts it in th ehamper. I married a neat freak.

usually his mom swoops down on the clothes.
but he leaves NOTHING on the floor. ever.
