BIG PACKAGE - (UPDATE: I opened it)

I just recieved a BIG PACKAGE from BB&B. My Sister/MOH, my Mother, and FH say I shouldn't open it. I say I should. What do you say?

Did you have your shower? If not, don't open it...some people sent gifts to my house as shower gifts but my mom & sister hid them before I could get home to find them. Luckily they did b/c some cards said 'Sorry I missed your shower...' I would have felt so bad if I read that & the surprise was ruined!!!
But if you had it already, go ahead & enjoy!

No I didn't! That's why they don't want me to open it. Would people actually write the date on it?
I tried shaking it, but I can't tell what it is. It's killing me, I tell you.

We opened all of the boxes that showed up at our house, but mainly because we know a lot of people can't make the shower, and figured the gifts were from those that can't be there.

So far we've been right. And also because no one told us that we couldn't or shouldn't open any boxes!!

I would check with family members just to be sure.

Don't open it - ask you mom to hide the box so you aren't constantly tempted by it

When I was at my mom's last weekend I saw boxes that had BBB tape on them. My grandmother is a pack rat when it comes to boxes - she's always shipping gifts to people, so she hordes the boxes. On our registry I put my mom's address as the place to send gifts. We have NO room in our apartment for any of these gifts.

I've decided to be a good girl and not open it. But it's seriously taking up a lot of room and it's taunting me.

I would be tempted the first day or two but then that feeling would go away and I would be glad that I didn't! That's how I am at Christmas, too

That's a great idea, I hope mine do the same and hide mine. I don't know if I would be able to refrain from opening them.
