Today, I had my bachelorette party, and it was wonderful! We went in a limo to all the wineries out east and it was really relaxing...BUT I was out in the sun and I didn't even think about sun tan lotion, and I got a farmer's tan on my arms! and my wedding is in a week! Anybody have any suggestions besides burning the rest of my arm or fake tanning? How can I get rid of the color on the bottom of my arms? Please help!

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
I dunno.. maybe ask your make-up artist? I really think a careful self tanning to fill in the light spots may be the only solution...

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
glad to hear you had a good time today!
i agree, it will probably be much less noticeable in a few days, but if you're worried, self-tanning is probably the only way to make it even. if you're nervous about picking the wrong product and having it be too orange or the wrong color, you can ask a tanning salon about airbrush/spray-on tanning - i've done this a few times and it comes out very even.

Oh no! I have no solutions, but this is something I'm worrued about too. I tan very easily and I spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer. My wedding is in September & I'm wearing a strapless dress. I'm soooo worried about having tanlines

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
lots of lotion or noxema (odd thing but works) it helps heal the tan 'burn' and help with any peeling. I burn all the time and i forgot lotion too yesterday!

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
Maybe tanning cream or lotion with a tint will help even it out. It should fade in few days.

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
go to a professional salon to even out your tan and match the color. Too much stress to try to do it yourself.

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
put noxema on it right away! get the redness to go down and then take stock of where you are at Tuesday/Wednesday. Hopefully it will have faded by then.

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
i don't use to remove the color...but as a friendly reminder, make sure you put a lot of lotion because your skin will start to dry and peel.

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
Thank you all for your help and suggestions, I'm definitely putting tons of aloe and lotion on my arms, I can't exfoliate yet, my arms are too sore still. I really hope it gets better I feel like my arms look like lobsters they're so red. I feel like I'm gonna look like a freak on my wedding day.

Re: BIG PROBLEM!!!
it will fade, but keep using aloe so it doesn't peel.
