BIG SCARE YESTERDAY! Long...
So yesterday afternoon I get a voicemail from Nick (who i love!) from CLM asking me to call him back ASAP. I got a bit concerned since everything is scheduled, our payments are being taken care of and all was well!
I call him back and he said that he just got notification that our photographer's insurance had been cancelled. So, I remain calm and ask him what that means. He tells me that without valid insurance they are not allowed on premises (which i knew but thought maybe he would let us slide lol) He said they could have taken out new insurance or something just to call and make sure.
Fast forward to a little while later when my photog returns my call. She was SO mad that they had called me. I understand where she is coming from but was glad Nick called. she said they still have insurance and it was some sort of error and that she would call CLM. SO i let it go!
Next, I get another call from CLM. Nick asks me where we obtained the certificate of insurance from. I explain that the photog sent it to us. He then tells me that she told him that she never sent us one and doesn't know where we got the false certificate from! This was a BIG LIE! So now I am pissed because she lied to him about that! As of this point he was thinking that they didnt actually have insurance and since they got caught they decided to try to blame us! He told the photog that she had til the end of the evening to fax over the valid certificate of insurance.
Fast forward another hour. I am still remaining calm, worked out and tried to not worry. But meanwhile I am envisioning having no photo or video ofo ur day! CLM calls me back and says they got the certificate of insurance and everythign is fine. But they seemed very uneasy that all of this went down and I dont blame them! I feel a little funny that the photog lied about this! Do you think I should contact her again? I am glad it worked out and that we have a photographer, but i still feel a bit uneasy! I don't drink, but I almost started yesterday!
