Any one have any info on Big shot the billy joel tribute band for the wedding?? I remember seeing a post awhile back about peat moss and them being in the $10,000 range.. I emailed them but havent heard anything back yet

I'm pretty sure they are only Billy Joel (they are SOOO great!!).
But I didnt think Peat Moss was in the 10K range....? I thought they were more in the 5K range?
I could be COMPLETELY off though....

Interesting! I didn't know that either!
I would just call them (or their manager) and ask. It can't hurt to ask.
Also, I'm pretty sure Peat Moss is NOT in the $10,000 range for a wedding - closer to $5,000 or $6,000, I think...

I was quoted $5000 for Peat Moss for a Fri night in June 08 - they come with a DJ too...
Not sure about Big Shot.

awsome to know $5,00 i think is a little more reasonable... i think but i dont have any idea what a band should be... I e-mailed them... I'll keep you posted on a response, does anyone know what an acceptable price would be?

I think $5K is pretty darn acceptable for a band... most wedding bands charge about 6800-7K!

the satellites are another band in the lower price range - my friend had them and they were amazing!!!
