FH and I just got bikes. We rode on Monday, and now my a$$ is SUPER sore. Can you recommend any types of seats and or padded clothes to alleviate this? OW.

Re: Bike Help
The first few times will be tough on the tush but you'll get used to it..and somehow it just stops hurting.
Good job with the bike riding though!!!
They do sell the padded biker shorts too. any sports clothing store.

Re: Bike Help
I have seen people who wear a padded pair of shorts from a sporting good store. They look like a lycra material

Re: Bike Help
I wear padded shorts for spinning and we also bought padded seats. Definitely helps alot but I still get a sore a$$. Even FH wears the shorts
ETA: We got our stuff at D|cks Sporting but any sporting good store will have them.

Re: Bike Help
Try a Gel seat or another type of padding seat. This is from D!cks.
I can't imagine how large my a$$ would look if I wore padded shorts, but I think I'm going ot have to do that, b/c its awful. I couldnt' ride yesterday b/c it felt bruised!

Re: Bike Help
I wear the padded shorts under pants/shorts. It really doesnt make your a$$ bigger b/c the padded isnt really around your a$$. Its kinda like wearing a huge womanly pad
