Bikini vs. One piece Bathing Suit

what do you wear?

I am a size 4/5 and i will NOT wear a bikini, I am weird like that LOL

Hi michi, Well since I feel I'm not ready to wear a bikini, I'm wearing a tankini. It's not like I have a gut but It's still not as flat as before. In the past I would wear bikinis thought.

I'm glad to see you are posting more often, you are always missed.

I actually always thought I looked better in a bikini. I am a really self conscious person too, so its surprising. I always felt I looked too boxy and unflattered in a one piece. This year I do not know if I am even going to the beach looking as I do now.

One piece. It's been a while since I've felt comfortable in a two piece. but, I'm big on not wearing things unless you look good in them.

I wear one but really should not. DH loves me in them, sometimes I think he is blind and my skinny 16 yr old body in stuck in his mind. If I go to the beach w/o DH then I am in a one piece

The way my body presently is - NO PIECE

I actually agree with Kathleen, though - i feel like I actually look a bit better in a 2 piece than a one piece.. luckily I am small on top and when I'm good with working out my waist and stomach are the first things that I lose from

Somehow I look FATTER in a one piece if that makes sense!

Though I will admit that I never wear a teeny bikini 'bottom' .. I opt for more of a high waisted bottom or boyshort type of suit bottom (thank God for mix and match and separates). 99% of the time I wear shorts or a sarong over my bottom since its definitely got too much going on down there

And Michi - you are the teeniest , skinniest little thing you can DEFINITELY pull off a bikini!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wear bikini's, although maybe I shouldn't, but I've been working out and watching what I eat like crazy so that hopefully on the honeymoon I'll feel comfortable in one! I can't really wear one pieces because I have a long torso and I have big boobs, so they just don't fit me right! It's so frustrating!

I feel this way too - one pieces look terrible on me. Not sure how my post-preggo belly will look this year or where my brown line will be by summer season.

Me too- I feel that the one piece or tankini hugs in a weird way making me look fatter
