Bikini Wax in Nassau County

I am thinking of getting a bikini wax or even (dare i say it) a brazilian wax for the honeymoon. I want to get one done now so i can see how long it takes to heal!!! Can anyone suggest a good salon that does this and specifically what girl you went to? I want it to be as painless as possible!!! Thanks!!

Bikini Wax in Nassau County

I recently had mine done at Babi Nail & Day Spa (Forest Ave, Glen Cove, 516-609-8585). I've had bikini waxes before, and this woman was by far the best. Her name was Amy. I'm thinking of going all the way too, but I've never done it before ;-) I also want to do under my arms and I hear it KILLS - even Amy told me that. Anyway, hope this helps!

I had my underarms done and it was fine - i'm more nervous about a bikini wax!!!

I hear there are not too many people in long island who do this or maybe who are certified to. There is one on Old Country Road on Hicksville/Westbury border...I can't remember the name but it is just by the Wantagh Pkwy on the south side of the road. It is a house converted into a spa like store. The woman who does the brazilian wax is Isa Gonzalez. There is also a place in the city...three sisters? I think thats the name or something similar. My roommate went there...but has a very high threshold for pain...she said it wasn't bad hope that helps

The 3 sisters place is ridiculously over priced on the Brazilians. I go to Elite Day Spa on 39th bw 5th &6th. Its $22 Ask for Natasha!

Quick question about this and I don't mean to be gross...Does the waxer take off everything? in the front and the back? I apologized for my ignorance but I have only had my eyebrows done and am very curious about this. as is my husband.

I did not start the chain but thought that since people were talking about it, my question would not be offensive. And by the way, I am not hairy and resent the implication! I was just curious!
