def run smaller!! my friend is a true 14-16 in everything and they ordered her a 22 and it fits perfectly..
i say small. my friend tried on a size 10 and got super depressed that it didn't fit.. till i explained that my size 4 street clothes wears a 10 o 12 in wedding dresses.. that these clothese run SUPER SMALL!
i JUST tried them on today with a BM of mine. I think it's the one I'm picking, but anyway, they run small. She's a 4 and the sample was an 8 and it was only a teeny bit big on her.
I have to disagree with the above posts. My BM's are wearing Bill Levkoff #268 and from our experience so far all of the dresses are huge. The store we ordered from showed us the sizing chart and we agreed based on the chart that the sizes would all correct. Each BM will need substantial alterations. In some cases the BM's dresses were literally sliding off of them.

They definately run small.....My sister used Bill Levkoff for her wedding and they were ordering big sizes for everyone.....My cousin wears a size 8 and they ordered her a 14....

i think the above posters mean compared to street size - like, when they take your measurements, you will be at size 10 in a bill levkoff, when you are actually a size 6 in street clothes.
this was the case for me - not BL, but my mori lee gown. i think most dresses, bridal or bridesmaid, run about 2 sizes 'smaller' than normal.
SMALL SMALL SMALL!!!! I am going through this right now with my girls....all 6 dresses don't fit because we listened to the the 'bridal consultant' who said they were true to size. It's possible it depends on the style of the dress but I wouldn't take any chances because I am totally stressed out about this. It's much easier to alter a dress smaller than to make it 2 sizes bigger.
Small about 2 sizes. It really depends on if your girls are hippy, have more in the bust etc. But its approximately 2 sizes...all my girls ordered 2 sizes bigger and they didnt need to be taken in alot at all
i have to disagree also lol.i actually found the dresses to run pretty true to size. the best thing to do is to just get ur ladies measured...if the sizes sound crazy & u think they're trying to get your girls in alterations then just ask to see the size chart.
