my neighbor is is the Big Shot Band, where they play all Billy Joel songs, and he is playing down th eblock from us in 2 hours. I cant wait. He will be playing in some bars in the suffolk County area.

There are about 2 or three of these bands. He is in one of them. His name is Mitch Kamen. He plays the sax.

I just found out that answer for myself...he's not in the band with Mike DelGuiduce. Mike is in the Big Shot Band, Mitch is in Big Shot (the 2 bands had a parting of ways because of the drummer, Eugene in Big Shot)
IMO, the one with Mike Del Guidice BLOWS the one you're seeing today away.

just wanted to say that they were AWESOME. The lead singer sounded just like Billy Joel.
2nd Time Around..... The drummer used to play with the old lead singer Micheal D elGuice ., but this new guy Robert is INCREDIBLE!!!! Sounds better than the other Big Shot Band JMO He sounds JUST LIKE BILLY JOEL.

I just saw a sign for them hanging on a window of a bar/grill in Port Jeff yesterday. I think they are scheduled to play there on October 4th?

Claud, yes they are playing at Port Jazz on Oct. 4th. (the one with Mike Del Guidice)
I've heard them both, and in my opinion this one is much better, but if you like Billy Joel you'll love them both. Mike is TOTALLY amazing. I'll probably be there on the 4th...hey maybe we can have a GTG!!!!

I saw Big Shot with Mike and OMG, he is incredible! I think it would be hard to see anyone else! I want to go Oct. 4th but I might be away, darn! Is there a schedule with them with Mike singing somewhere?

They play I think the first Sat. of every month at Port Jazz. They are truly AMAZING!!!!!! Mike is incredible.

OMG I loveddddddd Kid Gloves...I was almost like a groupie. They use to play at Nappertandies in Centereach all the time and some club in Port Jeff that is no longer there. Wow that brings back some memories.

Well Mike is still playing around, and sounds as good as ever! I remember the first time I heard him play, about 14 yrs ago. (man I Feel olllllddddd!!!)
