After seeing too many brides picking out seeds and rice from their hair, does anyone have any ideas on what guests can throw outside the church? Thought of bubbles but was advised it may stain my dress....

they have 'stainless' bubbles....I guess that's what all 'wedding bubbles' are supposed to be, but I've been to many weddings where the bubbles don't work at all or it's too windy for the effect. My church said we are not allowed to throw petals or rice so it's birdseed or nothing....not sure what we're going to do yet.

What about sparklers? It depends on if it's an evening or day wedding, but I think it will really look nice in pictures

lavendar buds are a new trend.... they're the size of rice, and they smell good too!

I'm so scared to throw birdseed. I always end up with this image that a huge flock of pidgeons will come attack my FH and I and peck my eyes out But I know that's just me being silly

I went with the candy rice thrown at us that melts for easy clean up. I had no problems with them because they were large enough to see and remove from my hair. I got them at Micheal's. I don't have any digital photos to show but the photos of everyone throwing them at us were perfect.
