if you can't find your birth certificate, how do you get a copy of it? who do you call?

Call the hospital you were born at.

thanks. do you need a birth certificate to get your marriage license? Or can you show your passport and drivers license?

My fiance went to the town of islip Town Hall to get mine. He just walked in and got it (but he had a notorized letter telling them he could have it with a photocopy of my license

P.S. I was born in Bayshore which is in the town of Islip.
