hey guys my fiance needs to get his birth certificate for when we need to get the marriage license does anyone know how to get your birth certificate? thanks in advance =)

he needs to go to the town hall of wherever he was born with identifcation. His parents can also get it for him.

where was he born--
example-- i was born @ mercy hospital-- mine i have to go to rockville center for. It takes likes a week and might cost like $10. Pretty simple though!

ok great thanks so much =) my coworker orered hers from a government website n had NO problem at all .. twenty bucks later she had the certificate in a week..of course we did this too n now its saying they need more identification to prove its him ... do u know if u have to pay at the town hall?

well if he was born in NYC all he would have to do is go to the city clerk and it takes 15 minutes to get and there is an online application ...I think it cost 10 bucks.

I got mine online a long time ago. I filled out some stuff online and got one. no idea but I remember googling lol. I didn't want to go sit somewhere. I still cannot believe till this day my mom lost my birth certificate. she had a photocopy of it!
