Birth control

What would you reccomend? I have never taken any BC's in my life and I counted the days and more than likely 'my friend' will be her for my wedding and I don't want it. I am going to my gyn tomorrow so I wanted some reccommendations that will stop my period for my wedding day and honeymoon.
TIA

Exactly! It's been proven that women don't need to have a period EVERY month, so skipping it will be fine. I did it a couple times, no problems.

Re: Birth control

I just started BC anbout 3 months ago. I also never had taken anything. I told my doctor I didnt want anything that would make me gain weight or make me go crazy LOL so she put me on Loestrin24....For the first couple of weeks I got some breakouts and had severe nausea at night but only for the first two days. Now it's great, no problems!

I just tried Seasonique to stop my period for the wedding and it made me vomit like every other BC pill.

I have been on a bunch, but I am currently on Nuvaring. I love, love, love, love, love it. Did I mention i love it . You don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday and you can just take it out and put in a new one when you are ready. The hormones have not been bad for me at all and my periods have been lighter. I highly recommend it
