birth control question.

birth control question.

i just started birth control pills and i take it every night at 8pm. now i have my wedding coming up and a friends wedding and showers and stuff, can i drink alcohol while taking the pill?? i mean i wont swallow my pill with a glass of champangne LOL,but can i take my pill at 8 with water and then drink a couple of drinks after that?

definately you can drink alcohol!! you can even swig your pill down with a shot if you wanted to... antibiotics are what makes the pill ineffective somethings...

my doc never told me not to drink while on bc. so i think its okay

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's fine to drink alcohol.

been taking it for about 5 years now and drink with it- never ever had a prob and wasnt ever told not to by my doc

If not then I would have a lot more kids

Go ahead and have some drinks. As others mentioned, just becareful about antibiotics with them. Use another form of bc if you have to take antibiotics.

i was on the pill for 10 years and it never stopped me from drinking..there were times that i even washed the pill down with a drink!!

its fine..nothing to worry about

Ive been on different pills for the past 14 years, I drink rarely and I have not one child.
