Okay, so my MOH is throwing a 60th birthday party for her MIL. Does anyone have any unique/creative gift or party ideas? Like a keepsake that she can bring home at the end of the night? My MOH already said that she doesn't want to take pictures from all of her MIL's photo albums to make a new one because they are old and could tear if she tries to take them out. Any other ideas?

What about a keepsake video?
My FH's cousins threw a 30th anniversary party for their parents (FH's aunt and uncle) a few years ago and during the party showed a video of different things in their lives. It was basically a slideshow of pics of each of them growing up, dating, then getting married, with the kids, etc.

I was going to suggest the same thing. You can do a slideshow...put music in the background and then make DVDs for everyone to take home.

Yea, but how would she do that without actually taking the pictures out of the albums?

Or another one...have everyone write a letter to her...maybe memories or something. Then put it together iin a big album!

If she has access to a scanner, she could scan them from the album. Or I'm sure there are probably some in boxes somewhere, not necessarily all in albums?
