I'm helping a friend out with a surprise party invitation and she wants to put:
'We love your children, however this is an adult affair'
Is there ANY other wording I can put this into?
I don't really like how it sounds
TIA

Re: Birthday Invitation wording- help!
Yeah, I would not go with that wording... I'm trying to think of some way to say that without offending or coming off too strong...
How about:
Please leave your screaming, running wild kids at home as we're hoping for a peaceful night of celebration.
Just kidding! I love kiddies! Honestly, any way that it's written could potentially offend some people. She should keep it simple and just say something like: Adults Only.

Thanks Yesenia! I was thinking of just putting 'Adult Event' too...
