If the appetizer is already on the plate when the people sit down....where does the menu go? It just hit me that we cannot have it on the top plate?

Re: bizarre menu question
You can place it right next to the plate, between each setting....or, you can have it sit on a frame (almost like an easle,) standing up in front of the CP.

Re: bizarre menu question
I'm using the folded card, like a greeting card and I'm putting 5 or 6 per table.
I'm sorry, I have never been to a wedding where there was a menu. I always remember the server coming around and telling everyone what the choices are. Is this the new trend in weddings? Is this something that most people do?

I am used to that too. I have no need to spend money on printing menus. There are 5 choices. It can't take that long to choose!

I made my own...it's relatively easy, printed at home and people loved them. But it's all a matter of preference.

My hall provided them. I believe they were on an easel...a couple to each table. I don't completely remember though.

Some catering halls (Like mine) offer several dishes so they offer a menu

My hall is offerring a selection of 7 entree's...I definitely don't want the waiters screaming over the music 7 different selection and the guests saying 'What was that again?'

My 4 selections are meat, fish, vegetarian or chicken....I'm gonna skip the menu (unless the hall provides them)
