What color flowers are you used/did you use if your girls are wearing black dresses??

I really want everything PURPLE! Does that look good though?? I know pink and black looks awesome, but im not a pink girl.

If you have pictures, that'd be awesome!

My friend got married in September and her girls wore black dresses and all her flowers were red roses. It looked so beautiful.

Those are my favorite color schemes and I would have done it if she hadn't done it first and I wasn't getting married in July.

Her pics look amazing and her room looked so beautiful.

I plan on having black bm dresses.. my other colors are red and gold ( movie theme)
so I'll probably have them have like gold sashes or something with red bouquets or vice-versa

I am doing black bridesmaid dresses and their bouquets are going to be dark and light purples whith cream.white flowers around the outside and mixed in here and there so they pop from the black dresses - if you do all purple you will not see them in pics! HTH

Thanks! That is what one of my bm's said! To put some ivory in there to make it pop! Thanks!! Do you have a picture of yours? Or an idea?

Re: black bm dresses

these are not my actual boq but just ideas of how it can work - i am not having any greens though - i want it very tight with just purples and ivories. i am also doing cascading boq's for the bridesmaids - which i think will really spark up a black dress!

I had black bm dresses with a dark pink sash and my girls carried pink flowers. Purple would look nice you just have to be careful of the shade you pick and you def want to mix it up with another color or another shade of purple. When I was first looking I was going to do black with a purple sash and the girl at the salon said it reminded her of Halloween......

I'm doing black bm dresses but I am totally a pink girl and am using pink roses. BUT I think purple looks awesome with black dresses. I think almost any shade would look good but especially lavender.
