Black Dahlia and Camelot: Reviews?

I am a Woodlands bride, too! I am using both vendors -- Black Dahlia and Camelot. Sheryl from Black Dahlia is AMAZING. She has exceeded my expectations. Our first meeting with her was well over an hour and she was so incredibly helpful and informative. This lady knows her stuff. I feel like I got a lot for the price I paid, in comparison to some of the stuff I've been seeing on these boards. She came to the Woodlands on the day we had our tasting and created a sample centerpiece for us to see -- she even set up an entire table in the main room for us to see what it looked like with the place settings. I feel 100% confident that my flowers that day will be amazing and that I have nothing to worry about.

As for Camelot, we've had nothing but good experiences with them. We went to their office to meet with Joe, and he showed us our options, and we feel that the price was right. Tell him your a LIW bride, and he'll throw in a free private town car to come to the venue at the end of the night for the bride and groom to ride back in.

I met with Joe at Camelot and he was great! Actually booked him that night! I thought the price was great! They also threw in a car to take you home from the venue/to the airport whichever you choose!!

wow i just noticed that it was taken out. i don't know why

anyways, i had issues w/ our escalade. it rained the night before and the day of and the sunroof was broken and they fixed it by using duct tape and the roof started leaking. my bm's dresses (bottom of it) got dirty and they had to do a quick clean right before the ceremony. i also had issues w/ the OT and the payment situation but i won't get into it b/c they might pull this

i didn't even know it was taken out til Laura mentioned it on t his post! who knows when they took it out!

I met w Joe a few months back; I was given one quote of the phone a different one in person and a third written on the proposal which he handed to fh and he had not dealt w him at all. The price went up almost $500 from my original quote over the phone. I also ws not crazy about the condition of their antique cars. I feel bad in how it turned out I was sure we would of booked them on the spot but it was just not comfortable.

We r also getting married at a church and I had a problem when I told Joe the priest told us all to be there by 230 for our ceremony and he turned to me and said 'your laying them for a service you tell them when you will be there and they work for you'. Granted I am not a church everyday kinda gal BUT I s insulted w this. Petty to some, not to fh and I since to us then sacrament of marriage is the most important part of our day.
