Our CH uses Black forest for the cake and was wondering if anyone has any feedback about them. Also our CP's are included and this is the florest that they use does anyone have feedback on them. Thanks

Our hall also uses Black Forest Bakery. We went to meet with someone about our cake a few weeks ago, and they were very helpful. Also, my shower was on Saturday. That place also uses Black Forest for their cakes, and it was pretty good.

My place uses Black FOrest as well....i guess they must be decent if many of the halls use them

My Hall uses both Black Forest and Audrey's. I haven't met either of them yet, but there have been quite a few complaints on here about Black Forest. A couple were for the cake not being excatly what they asked for, and I think they messed up a date on another occasion.

I don't want to jinx anyone, but from many of the reviews on here, I have heard a lot of bad things about Black Forest. My Hall uses Black Forest too, but I'm going to steer clear.

A really good one is Rolling Pin in East Setauket or St. James... I think it's St. James.

I can't believe that so many places use black forest if they have gotten so many bad reviews but then again I have seen alot of good reviews as well.
I guess I will have to meet with them to see.
So you think its to early to do that?

Well my Banquet Manager told me when we come in to finalize the menu we can discuss the cake and go down and talk with the owner of Black forest bakery about the type of cake I want.

Hey,
OK I've used black forest bakery before. Never had any complaints. Always very good. Bayview is an excellent florist. I'm using them for my wedding. The owners are actually second cousins but they have always done a fabulous job. I would highly recommend them!
