Has anyone had experience or heard anything good or bad about Black Forest Bakery? They are included in my wedding package, but I'm not sure if I should go with them.

Re: Black Forest Bakery
They are my 'preferred' bakery as well. I have heard and seen some pics of the not so good, but I have also heard lots of great things. Keep in mind that opinions are just that - opinions. Try meeting with them first and then make up your mind.

Re: Black Forest Bakery
I used the bakery, and they were very easy to deal with and agreeable. Below is the cake I got. It was also included in our package with the hall. Our filling was yellow cake with chocolate mousse and cannoli. I remember it tasting pretty good, but didn't eat much of it. I also used Audrey's Bakery for my groom's cake. That was very tasty also, but I did not use them for the wedding because I did not want to pay more money to upgrade someplace else. I would recommend Black Forest, the man I dealt with (I don't remember his name) was very kind and helpful. GOod luck!
I went to a Bridal Shower recently and they made the cake.....it was delicious!

Re: Black Forest Bakery
I LOOOOOVE Black Forest. SOOOOOO should have gotten them for my wedding. My shower cake was from there and it was better than my actual wedding cake in every way.

honestly, i didnt find them particularly easy to work with, wasnt thrilled with how the cake looked and the filling was not what we ordered...

Re: Black Forest Bakery
they are also my recommended bakery that will be included in my package..
i havent heard good things either - but that was also from cakes that were more designed and modern - i want a traditional and plain cake - so i think i may use them...
