Kinda-sorta. We're doing our own invites/menus and need a good printer. I'm not going to be bustin' down the doors at 5 a.m., but I will be heading to Staples in the morning to buy one.
But I don't think Staples will be anything like, say, Best Buy on Black Friday.

Re: black friday shopping for wedding items?
DH is waking up at the crack of butt to go to Lowe's! Obviously not wedding related but still annoying. He is going on the off chance that they might mark down some dumb saw that's over a grand.

word to the wise. when purchasing a printer, the cheapest isn't always the best. FH & I made a mistake like that. we purchased a normally very expensive good quality Cannon printer at an extremely discounted price before Circuit City went out of business. we only use it as a scanner because the ink is sooooooo expensive.

Thanks - their ad was leaked online last week and we've read up on the reviews online for the three that we're interested in We're definitely taking ink price into consideration.

Thanks Kris. I think I'll do just that. I tried to tell him that even if they mark it down, how many people are running out to buy this thing. I'm going to look for it now :)
PS I've been meaning to FM you for some of your favorite vegetarian recipes. Any good recipe books you've read? I need to expand my diet from carbs, salad and soy products.

you'd be suprised. my mom was on the printer-hunt last year and she said people were nuts because they only had like four of them in stock.
best of luck. hope you get it!

I really love Vegetarian Times magazine. They publish all of their recipes on their website (Vegetarian Times Dot Com) and don't have too much focus on soy products. Also, they truely cater to veggies...it's not too heavy-handed with the vegan recipes. Check it out, it's pretty great. You just reminded me, I need to renew my subscription ASAP

Re: black friday shopping for wedding items?
I have never gone BF shopping ever in my life, but this time I want to check out the Coach outlets. The only two I know of are at Tanger in Riverhead and Woodbury Commons. Are there any closer to Queens that I just don't know about yet?
