Black in Photographs

I think I read on here that black doesn't photograph well in pictures. Is that true? What are your opinions on this??

I have the cutest dress ever that I want to wear for my e-pics, but it's black.

i dont think thats true that black doesnt photograph well. I wore a black shirt for my epics and it was fine.

i read that too but i didnt give a sh*t i still wore black for my eshoot
i think our pics came out great

I have never had a problem being photographed in black I find it very flattering in pics!!

i actually notice in some pics or sometimes how the photographer plays with the pics, black completely gets lost in pics! a lighter color is going to pop where obviously black will not...it'll just blend into a dark background.
