black limo????? Opinions PLEASE!

My FH's parents friend owns a small limo company and has generously told us to let him handle the limo for us. He will have one of his drivers drive the limo as he is invited to the wedding, but we won't have to pay for a thing limo wise! I am so greatful of this, however I learned that the 10 passenger limo he has is black! I always pictured a white limo for me and my bridal party. I talked to my FH about this and he said that if I really want a white one, we'll have to pay for it. I don't really want to do this either.

I just am not sure of having a black limo for our wedding. Anyone feel this is OK? I know I might be nit picking a bit, but it feels wierd to me having a black limo. Anyone else?

My friend had a black limo for us and got a silver RR ( or white, she picked silver though) for her and her father, and after the ceremony her and her husband..

If you think about it you will be on the inside and won't know if it's black or white. I guess it depends on where you want to spend your $. If I had the option I would go w/ the free black one.

If its free its for me....sweetie I will gladly take the free black limo off of your hands if you do not want it. You are in the limo for what seems like 2 secs, does it really matter what you ride in.

My friend and her hubby used a black town car. Another friend on mine used a black limo for her and her hubby. Looking back at it now, I did not even notice it until you brought up this topic. It is not that serious an issue to give up a free black limo and put yourself in an unneccesary expense.

I will be in a white limo with girls(only because they have one-I wouldn't care if it was black) & Fi will drive his truck, our best Man & his girlfriend are getting driven in a black town car-it was the only other car they had available. We got a great deal on limos, the owner is a patient of mine-so I'm not really worrying about it.
You could decorate the black one a little if you want it to be more 'bridal'.

Oh yeah black is fine and looks elegant. I also finds it comes off better in the pics next to the white dress.

I haven't booked my limos yet, but I definitely want black!

I don't know why, but I was never crazy about the way white limos look.

I feel really good now about the black limo thing. I have always preferred the look of the black limo for other events, but always thought you just HAD to have a white one for weddings- almost like I'd commit a faupax.
