black tie guy... i'd like your opinion

i personally would love to hear what you have to say about the guy who wore red and black madras pants, a red sport coat, white polo, and sperrys to my wedding. or the one who wore black flip flops with his black suit.

lemme know if you find a pic of the first outfit. I'm definitely interested in seeing it.

As for the second, I don't like it. The reason is that it's just a mismatch in formality. To me it's the same as wearing a suit and dress oxfords, except foregoing the dress shirt and tie for a tshirt -- sloppy.

Now if you want to do brown flip flops with a tan linen suit and a pastel shirt, that at least makes a little more sense to me, though admittedly it's not my particular taste.
