BLACKBERRIES - UPdated w/a link to a story

FYI, just saw on the news that yesterday again was a msging problem at RIM. they said the root of the problem is from their msging software and urged to download the new one and update the BB.

crazy that this happens TWICE in a span of a week

ETA: our IT group just sent a link to this article BB Outage

Yup sooo annoying. My BBM wasn't working last night. Have to check now. This has been happening a lot lately!

yes, I've been getting last nite's crap all morning too.

they said the problem is w/the software so we all need now to update our BB.
as if we dont have enough on our plate

for a week or so my BB has been nothing but problems emails are only back to normal today

it was sooo annoying yesterday with my bb all messed up. i just updated my phone sunday, should i update it again? is there really an update to get?? how annoying!

i personally like all the problems with BB because then my boss can't annoy us from court. however, it seems to be working well today, with the million e-mails we are all getting.

I figured something was wrong last night when I wasn't getting anything on Facebook and AOL instant messenger wouldn't let me log on. I couldn't even acess LIW or Google from my browser.

I am not sure if this will help, but when I powered up my laptop last night, the Blackerry Desktop Manager immediately downloaded an update..so maybe the update will be transmitted to the BB once you hook it up to your desktop?
