I am due (WAY OVERDUE) for an upgrade and my phone is starting to crap out.........cutting in and out and getting annoying to constantly hear people tell me, 'WHAT, I CAN'T HEAR YOU.....YOUR PHONE IS CUTTING IN AND OUT'
I have had a blackberry (curve) for like 3 years....I love it. If I were to upgrade to a new blackberry, it would be the 9700.
I was considering and iPhone but I am def not gettting the iPhone4 with the horrible reviews I have heard. The iPhone3GS is an option but I am not sure if I want an older model, knowing a new one is out.
I heard they are taking back the 4's and attempting to fix them for the numerous problems with service people have had, which may take a while.
What do I do? Get the blackberry or wait for the iPhone4 to get fixed, orrrrr get the iPhone3GS?
to be on teh safe side go with the 3gs- i actually like it better then the 4

I think no matter who you ask you are going to get a different answer. I have the new bold for verizon and I love it. Blackberries are dependable battery wise but obviously the iphone is flashier. I can't have a phone without buttons so I personally could never get the iphone

I have a Blackberry Storm....very easy to navigate, Verizon has very good reception in most places. Yes, pushing on the touch screen can be a bit annoying, but it's nothing horrible.
FH has the iPhone....he's on his THIRD iPhone. First one was malfunctioning less than a year in, so Best Buy gave him a new one. That one started having dropped calls a week after they gave it to him. So he brought it back to Best Buy, got another one. This one the screen is so dark, he needs to hold a flashlight up to it to read. So he will be getting a FOURTH iPhone.

a bunch of people at work and a few o FH friends have said the reception is HORRIBLE and i heard it on the radio too?

FH has an iPhone 4 and of course the first thing people ask him is if he has problems with it, but he hasn't had a single one!

yes they do but the bold is a much better phone the quality of the curve is not the greatest.

I've never had a problem with my curve & I've had it for like 2 years. I'm actually due for an upgrade also I'm either gonna get the newer curve or the bold.

I would wait for the iPhone4 to be fixed but that's because I used to have the iPhone and switched to a BB. I actually like the BB better but I miss the touch screen and REALLY want that part of the phone back. Because of the iPads using up a lot of the 3G, iPhones are running a little slower then normal too. If you REALLY want the iphone then I would wait until all the kinks are out.
EDT: Other problem with the iPhone my battery died ALL the time AND when it freezes you have to try to turn it off and turn it back on which doesn't always work. There is no battery to just take out.
