What do you think of Ascot ties oppose to regular ties? I just dicovered this look and i think its really cute especially with a Wing tip shirt (all Ivory tux).

Well, to be honest, I don't think it matters.
That said, I personally prefer the turn down collar and regular tie to the wing collar and ascot, and I think the groomsmen might be more comfortable with that.
If the gm do wear regular ties, there are special 'wedding ties' that would look good. I can show some to you so you can get an idea of what they look like.

BTG Eactly how we plan to do it.... My husband would wear the Ascot/Wing tip set and the GM will wear reg ties and turn down shirts... . Thanks

It is an english style suit meant to be worn in the afternoon. The top is a one button cutaway and the pants are gray pinstripes. This is what ascots are usually worn with. They are perfect for my vintage victorian theme!!!!!
