I am only 3 1/2 months pregnant, and I have had 2 UTI's, possibly on my third. I know we are supposed to feel excess pressure when pregnant, but I feel mine may be overboard. I, without exaggeration, run to the bathroom every 30 minutes or so.... and at times, I have to go every 5 minutes. Is this normal at this time? Or do you think the medication I am on might need to be switched? I have an appt. next Wed, so I still have time until I can see my doc.... does anyone else have this type of problem? Thanks

Re: Bladder pressure?
Im 24 weeks preggo and I pee alot too. I am carrying very low - I did with my son as well - and that can definitely add to it. Even if the baby isn't big yet, your uterus is expanding. But definitely check with your OB. Im sorry about the UTI's, that must be h ell to deal with

Its funny that you posted about this. I was just thinking about this. I run to the bathroom every 30 minutes. I thought it was just normal. I am also 3 1/2 months.

I am also 3 1/2 months - but I have not had too pee any more frequently that normal. Well except that I am drinking a lot more water - maybe that is it. I used to get UTIs all the time - they are the worst. What medication are you on for them?

Re: Bladder pressure?
The doctor has prescribed Macrobid for me, so the true test will be next week... I got for another appt on Wed and will have been on the med's for 10 days this time. So if I still have an infection, they will have to switch the medication.
I am finally starting to get my energy back, although at times I still feel exhausted. About the weight gain..... let's just say this week I really 'popped'... I was already showing more than I thought I should, but this week, I had people notice at work that hadn't known, and someone even asked to rub my belly. So I think I am one of the unusual ones who looks about 6 months pregnant when she isn't even 4 yet.
How are you ladies feeling?
