I had called a vendor and requested information. . .they took like a week and a half to respond to me at ALL, then tell me that they can't just give information over the phone, they can only send it to me via mail.
Fine. So I'm waiting to book this, I already have another price quote from another vendor, and I finally get his information - and it isn't even what I asked for It was information on higher priced options, which aren't even similar to what I asked for.
I call him up, he doesn't answer. Calls me back a day later and promises to email me the information (he said he was doing it 'now')
Yeah, that was yesterday morning - still no information. I think I'll just book the other Company and forget about his price quote - even if its a little cheaper in the long run, its probably still not worth it.
I just don't get how some people do business!!!!

That is such a crappy thing to do to prospective clients. I don't know how they manage to stay in business And I agree, even if they do come in w/ a better rate you don't even want to risk working with them. A good first impression really makes a difference.

Yeah, it just makes me mad. Especially considering how expensive everything wedding related is - I mean like, if I'm spending THAT MUCH money on you - you can't even call me back? efffff that.

If this is what they do to get business Imagine how they may treat you when you have already paid for the service. Go with your gut it seems they already left a bad impression.

a vendor did this to me... insisted on mailing me the info. I waited a week to get it and his quotes were 3 times the amount I got from the other vendors on here. Seriously... why would you insist on mailing me the info? Just FM or email it to me. Also, the info packet he sent me had dirty black finger prints all over it.. disgusting

ewww. I'm weird, that would bother me SO much. Like - depending on what kind of vendor this is (mine actually happened to be a photobooth company) I'd be concerned about how clean they are if they would even send something like that.
FH and I are going to book with the other company, I have no patience for bad customer service. . .and when / if they call me back, I'll be sure to tell them that was the reason!
