Blank space- need help

I have a friend who wants to know if anyone knows of a place where you can rent the room for the wedding. Do any halls let you use the room if you dont want the food? Or are there any facilities that just rent out rooms for parties?

thanks!

i dont think you can do that at regualr reception halls....but you can rent out knights of columbus or american legions and bring in your own food......

There's a place in the city called The Puck Building but I'm pretty sure its

The Puck Building

Its a gorgeous blank empty space that can be transformed completely by a decorator or florist.

I was going to say the American Legion but this is so much nicer!

The metropolitan building in Long Island City. Beautiful space. I think its 8k just for the space which includes tables and chairs up to 200 people. If you go with the recommended food vendor, you get the linens, glasses, flatware and china. Their food vendor is pricey though.
I was looking at this space and priced out how much rentals would be and it came to like 6k not including food or alcohol. Honestly, sometimes its cheaper to go with a hall.

hope this helps.
